Hi there,
I’m a designer/developer, living in Kyoto for 16 years. I’m originally from the US, most recently Olympia, Washington.
I’m passionate about design, entrepreneurship, and using software and technology to change the world. I’m interested in starting new projects with inspired people.
I design & code applications and websites with modern tools like the following:
- JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js & Ionic/Angular
- Framer X & Figma
I speak, read & write Japanese to a high level (and sometimes do interpreting for film & television projects).

- B.A. in Japanese traditional crafts & aesthetics at Miyazaki University & The Evergreen State College
